Today there was a solar eclipse in Asia. Here in Ojika, the sun was about 95% covered. It was cloudy, but we were able to catch glimpses of it as it broke through the clouds. This was the first solar eclipse I had ever seen, it was pretty amazing!
I'm now 28 and finished with my second of two years teaching english on the incredible island of Ojika, in Japan.
I am enjoying the slower pace of life and the amazingly friendly people that give the island its energy.
I hope to keep this blog as updated as possible with the experiences and events of my life here in Japan (but I seem to being a poor job of it so far!).
